Agrícola Schweigert S.A is a Paraguayan family business dedicated to the production, processing and export of conventional and organic chia seeds. The Schweigert family's history with chia production began in 2013, when the first production volumes were exported. In 2014, Agrícola Schweigert S.A. was born, founded by Ricardo Hugo Schweigert and his children Ricardo, Eduardo and Raquel. We are a clearly differentiated company because we produce our own raw materials in our own fields: more than 3,000 hectares – 2,000 certified organic – located in several regions of Paraguay: San Pedro, Chaco and Canindeyú, reducing climate risks. We support the entire crop development process, from planting to export. Supervising and analyzing all critical points of the process through internal and external quality control procedures, achieving complete traceability of each batch. The objective was to become a Paraguayan company recognized worldwide for its integrity, reliability and quality. For it, We made significant investments in two modern processing plants with the best possible technology to achieve the international certifications required by the most demanding markets.
