At Kräuter Mix, the name says it all – and not just because of the owners, Christoph and Bernhard Mix, who are the third and fourth generations at the helm of the family business with 480 employees. 650 products – from anise to coriander and chives to onions – are part of the extensive range, as evidenced by the diverse aromas in the spacious production and storage halls, which have already soothingly greeted the noses of many a driver on the motorway between Nuremberg and Würzburg near Abtswind. We purchase raw materials in 70 countries around the globe and, as an international industrial supplier, distribute the finished products to customers all over the world. This makes Abtswind, a town of 850 inhabitants in the heart of Franconia, a major transshipment point for the food, pharmaceutical, and pet food industries. Many of the natural products we manufacture, which are also available in organic quality, can be found in herbal and fruit tea blends, spice creations, and ready-made meals from renowned brands. Due to increasing demand, our company, which has received multiple certifications for its quality and sustainability, has grown steadily in recent years. Not only at its headquarters, where the facilities operate in three-shift operation, but also at the logistics center in neighboring Wiesentheid, which has been expanded several times.
