Permanuts

We specialize in sourcing dried fruits and nuts for industry use, grown using non-intensive agricultural practices that blend modern science with traditional methods, all while preserving the environment. Guided by the principles of Permaculture, we aim to create sustainable ecosystems by mimicking nature’s own patterns.

Our PermaCashews are ethically sourced from over 50,000 smallholder farmers in Mozambique, with full traceability down to the district level. Processed locally at our rural factory, these cashews have a lower carbon footprint than those typically shipped long distances in their shells.

Our PermaAlmonds are wild-grown in the Trás-os-Montes region of Portugal, often through intercropping systems that respect natural cycles, water use, and ecosystem health. Though lower in yield than intensive farms, they offer a richer flavor and natural sweetness thanks to careful, nutrient-preserving practices.
