Almendras Llopis is a fourth-generation family business with deep roots in the Spanish almond industry, dating back over 80 years to when Mr. Vicente Llopis Espinós began shelling almonds in Alicante. Officially established in 1974, the company relocated its operations to the Canastell industrial estate in San Vicente del Raspeig, marking a new chapter in its growth.
In the 1980s, Almendras Llopis shifted its focus to international markets, expanding its global reach. The 1990s brought significant technological advancements, with the introduction of modern processing lines and equipment to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Towards the end of the 20th century, the company refined its strategy to emphasize added value, quality standards, and strong customer service. Today, one of its most important developments is the expansion of its agricultural division, ensuring full control of the production chain — from cultivation to marketing and industrial processing.
While the tools and technology have evolved from manual shelling with wooden mallets to modern, integrated operations, the company’s commitment to quality and its passion for a job well done remain unchanged.
