Sresta Natural Bioproducts Pvt. Ltd was founded in response to the excessive and harmful use of pesticides in Indian agriculture. In 1992, Raj Seelam, then working in an agri-products company, witnessed the damage caused by chemical farming and its impact on farmer debt. This concern led to the founding of Sresta in 2004, with a vision of promoting organic farming and sustainable livelihoods. The company launched its brand, 24 Mantra, inspired by the elements of nature described in ancient Indian texts. Sresta began with small steps but remained committed to helping farmers shift to 100% organic practices. By forming dedicated farming communities, the company provided continuous support and fair market access. With a farm-to-fork approach, Sresta ensures that consumers receive certified organic products straight from the source. Over the years, the company has expanded to work with over 34,000 farmers. These farmers cultivate nearly 195,000 acres across 12 Indian states. Today, Sresta stands as a leader in organic food, balancing ecological sustainability, farmer welfare, and consumer health.
