About Tropoc
Established in 1973, TROPOC is based in Castanhal, in the state of Pará, located in Brazil’s Eastern Amazon region. The company specializes in the processing and commercialization of agricultural products. The name TROPOC is derived from the English phrase "Tropical Products of Castanhal," directly highlighting the company’s focus and origin within the world's largest tropical rainforest.
TROPOC’s black pepper is handled with exceptional care—harvested and hand-selected without mechanical intervention, and sun-dried naturally. This meticulous process ensures a premium product that aligns with the highest global standards for quality and sustainability. As a result, TROPOC exports to markets across Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa.
Committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability across its production and industrial processes, TROPOC avoids the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), refrains from irradiation, and adheres to strict food industry standards. All products are traceable, guaranteeing that only the finest peppers make their way from farms to consumers.
With expert oversight in sourcing, quality control, production, and logistics, TROPOC has earned several of the world’s most respected certifications for both its products and operations.
